The Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA), in association with NatWest and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), hosted the NatWest PCA Awards 2008.Kent batsman Martin van Jaarsveld has been named the Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA) Player of the Year. He helped Kent to both one-day finals and hit more than 1,000 Championship runs, but could not prevent his side being relegated to Division Two. Essex all-rounder Ravi Bopara, left out of England’s Test tour of India, was named Young Player of the Year. The Remaining Awards at the PCA Awards are as under :
