BCCI has annonced the Indian Squad for upcoming Twenty20 Worldcup, England 2009 starting from June 5th to 21st June 2009, [Fixtures] which would be lead by Dhoni. The Indian Squad is more over inspired from the players performances in IPL and Twenty20 Only. As there are Several new players, including allrounder Ravindra Jadeja and left arm-spinner Pragyan Ojha, join the 15 man squad on the strength of their performances in the ongoing Indian Premier League in South Africa.

Star batsman Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid were not included despite their good form in the IPL. Tendulkar has said he is not interested in playing Twenty20 cricket for India. RP Singh, who last donned India colours against England in November, was recalled after picking 12 wickets from six games in the ongoing Indian Premier League in South Africa. Ojha, a left-arm spinner, is the second-most successful Indian bowler in the IPL after his Deccan Chargers teammate Singh, with 10 wickets in six matches.

Twenty20 World, England 09 would have have 12 teams in four groups namely Group A , B, C, and D. Teams for Each Group are as follows:

It would be to early to give a predication, but cannot wait, so here is my predication which would be very easy for you too, about the teams to be in the Super Eight of the Twenty20 World, England 2009 Group E | A1 – India, B2 – England, C1 – Australia, D2 – South Africa | Group F | A2 – Bangladesh, B1 – Pakistan, C2 – Sri Lanka, D1 – New Zealand.

India squad: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag (vice-captain), Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Praveen Kumar, R P Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Pragyan Ojha and Irfan Pathan.
